Perfume Blending Services
Perfumes are typically composed of a blend of multiple ingredients, each contributing to the overall scent profile. These ingredients are often categorized into three main types of notes: top notes, middle notes (also known as heart notes), and base notes.
1. Top Notes:
- Top notes are the initial scents you smell when you first apply a perfume. They are light, volatile, and evaporate quickly after application.
- These notes create the first impression of the perfume and typically last for about 15 to 30 minutes after application.
- Top notes are crucial for grabbing attention and setting the tone for the perfume.
3. Middle Notes (Heart Notes):
- Middle notes emerge after the top notes evaporate. They form the main body of the perfume and are often more robust and complex than top notes.
- These notes are sometimes referred to as heart notes because they give the perfume its character and personality.
- Middle notes typically last longer than top notes, lingering for several hours.
3. Base Notes:
- Base notes are the foundation of the perfume and provide depth and longevity to the scent.
- They emerge after the middle notes fade away and are the final stage of the perfume's dry-down process.
- Base notes are usually rich, heavy, and long-lasting, lingering on the skin for hours or even days.
The interaction and combination of these three layers of notes create the unique scent profile of each perfume. Our perfumers carefully select and blend different ingredients to achieve a balanced and harmonious fragrance that evolves as the notes unfold.
